Pasta with Clam Sauce

Yield: 4 to 6 servings

Notes: Three of us almost finished this off. 4 to 6 servings may be optimistic.

Preparation: Chop onions and garlic. Drain clams, retaining the liquid.


  1. Saute the onions and garlic in the olive oil until the onions are translucent.
  2. Stir in the clams, 1/2 the clam juice, the butter and the wine.
  3. Simmer for 20 minutes until the sauce has reduced and thickened some.
  4. Salt and pepper to taste.
