Curried Rice
Yield: 6 Servings
- 3 cups water
- 1 1/2 cup white rice
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 2 chicken bullion cubes
Note: Use 2 regular size bullion cubes or 1/2 of the larger (12 gram) wholesale club size.
- In a small pot, mix together the water and all the other ingredients except the rice. Bring to a boil. Remove the pot from stove and turn the stove down to it's lowest temperature.
- Add the rice to the pot, Stir, cover and return to stove.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Check to see if all the water has been absorbed. If it has, it's done. Fluff with a fork and serve.
