Pork Roast In Slow Cooker

Yield: 3 to 4 Servings

Notes: I use a small 2-quart Rival slow cooker. It only has two settings, on and off. Supposedly it cooks on "Low" but it's closer to "High". Adjust the recipe to your slow cooker. I suggest using the "High" setting.

Directions:

  1. Season roast with garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper.
  2. Cook in slow cooker for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
  3. Remove from slow cooker and let cool for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Cut pork roast into slices.
  5. Return pork slices to the slow cooker layer by layer, putting Worcestershire sauce and barbecue sauce on the pork slices between layers.
  6. Cook for another 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  7. Serve
